Last Minute Beach Crawl Tour

Country: Thailand

8 Days | $1,910

Thailand has some of the finest beaches in the world and this beach crawl will take you through some of our favorites. You will begin your tour on Koh Samui, a large island which has an airport and serves as a convenient base from which to explore.  Here you will note only find beautiful beaches, but wonderful shopping, delicious food, world-class spas and exciting nightlife.

From Samui, you will be transferred by boat to the smaller island of Koh Phangan. This smaller island is one of most stunningly beautiful islands in Thailand, with vibrant jungle rising up from the tropical sea. Koh Phangan offers something for everyone and Journeys Within can customize your tour to offer a peaceful natural retreat, amazing snorkeling opportunities, or if you prefer life on the wild side, we can schedule your time in Koh Phangan to coincide with the festivities of the Full Moon Party.

To finish off your experience, you will be transferred to the small island of Koh Tao which offers some of the world’s best diving opportunities. Koh Tao focuses on maintaining a healthy and beautiful marine ecosystem and life here runs on island time. Enjoy the mellow pace and the beach.

We recommend this tour during the months of May, June and July as this this the best time to visit these particular islands and other areas in Southeast Asia will be experiencing the rainy season.  If you prefer to travel a different time of year, Journeys Within can help you select the perfect Thailand beaches for your visit.

Kayaking the hongs near Phuket, Thailand

One-day itinerary: Hongs by Starlight

Country: Thailand

1 Day

This unique tour, set up by the highly acclaimed John Gray’s Sea Canoe, highlights one of the most beautiful and unique locations in the world – Phang Nga Bay. Phang Nga Bay has witnessed a rapid growth in tourism in the past 20 years, not just for its pristine white beaches but also for its unique topography. The 400km-wide area is decorated with a display of uniquely-formed limestone karst islands, some just an outcrop of rock, others with low-lying land and beaches. Often likened to Guilin in China, or the magical Halong Bay in Vietnam, one of Phang Nga’s most appealing and captivating attractions are the ‘’hongs’’ , or lagoons, which lay hidden within the islands. It was these hidden worlds set among the towering limestone karsts that we went in search of with the Hongs by Starlight team.
