With its rich diversity Myanmar is not an easy country to fit into 6 days, but knowing that schedules don't always allow for as much time as we would like we have managed to include the highlights of Myanmar in this amazing six day tour. You will experience the wonderful people of Myanmar, visit historic sites and modern markets, see rural Myanmar as well as its cities and explore both active and ancient religious temples. In six amazing days you will experience the wonder of Myanmar – one of the best kept secrets in Southeast Asia!

Myanmar has had a troubled few years keeping it off the major tourist track. It is however a delight to visit with welcoming, friendly people who love to show off their amazing country. In 12 days you will not only get to see some of the most spectacular sights in Myanmar but you will get to travel to some of the more unusual sites too.

After seeing Yangon and the awe inspiring Shwedagon Pagoda you will travel to the unique Golden Rock. From there travel thru rural Myanmar to Bagan - an Archaeological Zone World Heritage Area where the number of pagodas and temples is astounding. A quick stop in Mandalay is followed by a visit to Inle Lake where the views alone are enough to excite. Have downtime to relax, but also explore the fascinating floating farms, watch the unique local fishing style and visit some of the many water-bound villages.

When you leave after 12 days you will know you have seen and experienced some of the best of Myanmar – but you may well start planning your next trip as your plane takes off!

If you have read the descriptions of the tours above but felt you wanted more "outdoor time" with a chance to get out and explore on foot – this is the trip for you. Whilst you will still get to see and experience the major sites of Myanmar you will also get out to trek for 3 days, spending the nights at a monastery before heading down into the Inle lake area. If you want even more freedom tell us you'd like to bike in your free time, such as the second morning in Bagan, or ask your guide to suggest a local hike in the evenings.

You like to travel, but you like to do it in comfort and style: seeing the sites each day, but returning to a luxurious hotel each night. Myanmar has just what you're looking for and we have put it all together for you in this tour. You will see the main sites that should not be missed, experience the luxury of a cruise down the famous Ayeyarwaddy River (Irrawaddy River), float above the amazing ruins of Bagan in a hot air balloon and relish the hospitality for which Myanmar is famous.

Whilst we cannot promise you will have seen the whole of Myanmar in your 19 day trip we do our best to show you the best of this fascinating country! With the first 15 days packed full of wonderful sites and places to see, including a cruise up the famous Ayeyarwaddy River (Irrawaddy River) you can spend the last few days relaxing on one of Myanmar's most beautiful beaches.

You will return home having seen the amazing historical, religious and cultural sites, enjoyed the friendliness and hospitality of the people, and feeling relaxed and rejuvinated.
