Visit Luang Prabang to see the Wats and temples and the lovely scenery and then head out of town to the mysterious Plain of Jars. This trip will take you through stunning landscapes to one of the biggest mysteries in Asia, fields filled with huge earthen jars, thousands of years old. There is no definite explanation of what these jars were for, but many believe the fields are cemeteries and the jars held the remains of the dead. In this 6-day tour you will not only be amazed at the mysterious jars, but you will always remember the people and hill tribes you meet living on these same plains.
