23 Nov 08 Bangkok - Arrival
Catch your flight - arriving at 23:50. Arrive in Bangkok where you will be met by your Guide and transferred to your hotel.

24 Nov 08 Bangkok - City Tour
Your guide will meet you at your hotel in the morning and take you to visit the Grand Palace, the pride of Thailand. You will see the Emerald Buddha and the Reclining Buddha of Wat Pho. Have lunch at a local restaurant before taking a boat ride through the klongs and canals of Bangkok seeing local life as well as visiting Wat Arun. In the late afternoon take a walk through the beautiful flower market and watch the sunset from the famous Golden Mountain.

25 Nov 08 Bangkok - Ayuthaya Day Trip
You will be picked up from your hotel and driven to the river where you will board a converted rice barge. Enjoy a cruise up the river to the ancient city of Ayuthaya where you will visit the Bang Pa-in (Summer Palace) and explore the ancient ruins of this World Heritage site. Return to Bangkok by coach.

26 Nov 08 Bangkok - Day at Leisure
Free all day.
You will be transferred to Bangkok Airport for your flight - Bangkok Airways PG917 departing at 14:00 & arriving at 15:20. You will be met by a Journeys Within representative and taken to Journeys Within Bed & Breakfast.

27 Nov 08 Siem Reap - Angkor Wat
Wake up early and head out to watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat, then grab a traditional breakfast of noodle soup like the locals do at local stall.
This morning head to Angkor Wat in an air conditioned car, or if you choose by bike, with your guide. Explore this majestic temple throughout the morning while it is still cool and has fewer tourists.
Return to Journeys Within for lunch and a nap or refresh with a swim. In the afternoon head to Angkor Thom, the famous walled city and see the many temples within its borders, including the fascinating Bayon temple with its many magnificent faces smiling out. There are several beautiful spots from which to watch the sunset. Discuss with your guide where you would like to be and then relax and enjoy a memorable end to your day at the temples.

28 Nov 08 Siem Reap - Beng Mealea , Banteay Srei and the Ta Prohm
Enjoy breakfast at Journeys Within before leaving the crowds behind and heading to Beng Mealea, a temple only recently opened to the public; about one and a half hours drive from Journeys Within.
After an hour you will leave the paved road and get onto a beaten track running through rice fields and villages of rural Cambodia. At the temple our guide will help you imagine how it once was as you pick your way through the rubble now surrounded by jungle. In the afternoon head to Banteay Srei, an intricately carved temple known as the Lady Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near Banteay Srei and then on the way back visit Ta Prohm, one of the prettiest temples in the complex.
Head into town to enjoy a traditional buffet dinner and dance show in the evening.

29 Nov 08 Siem Reap - Exploring on Your Own
Today you will have a car and driver so that you can return to the temples and explore them on your own and at your own speed. It is wonderful to have a guide initially but to return on your own allows you time to really absorb the atmosphere and find previously unexplored corners and pathways.

30 Nov 08 Siem Reap – Departure
Morning at leisure.
Transfer to the airport in time to catch your flight - Bangkok Airways PG916 departing at 20:55 & arriving at 22:05.
Catch your connecting flight - departing at 23:50.
