Catch your flight. Arrive in Bangkok where you will be met by your Guide and transferred to your hotel.

16 Nov 08 Bangkok - Public Transport Tour
You will be met by your guide at your hotel at 9am before transferring to the Skytrain. Enjoy an elevated view of central Bangkok before boarding a river express boat to the Flower Market. Enjoy the sights and smells before taking an exciting tuk tuk ride to Wat Pho to see the famous Reclining Buddha.
Enjoy a thirty minute massage from the temple’s near by traditional Thai massage school.
Break for lunch at a local restaurant, and then head to the pride of Thailand, the Grand Palace and Wat Phra Kaew housing the Emerald Buddha. Take a stroll down the street to a local Buddhist amulet market before boarding a river express boat to the Skytrain station and return to your hotel.

You will be transferred to Bangkok Airport for your flight - Bangkok Airways PG215 departing at 08:00 & arriving at 09:15.
You will be met at Chiang Mai Airport and transferred to your hotel. You will be transferred to visit Doi Suthep, the most important Wat in Chiang Mai. Perched high above the city, it offers wonderful views of the city and countryside below.
Have lunch with your guide at a local restaurant.
After lunch visit the Chiang Mai home industries. See the process of creating lacquer-ware, silk and traditional Thai umbrellas; look through the stores filled with the beautiful finished products.

18 Nov 08 Chiang Mai - Doi Inthanon National Park
After breakfast set off for Doi Inthanon National Park where you will reach the summit of the highest mountain in Thailand. Enjoy beautiful scenery on the way to the national park. Visit a Karen Village and then stop at the peak of the mountain, 8,514 feet above sea level. Take a walk out into the jungle and look for bird life before returning back down, stopping at a beautiful waterfall on the way. You will have lunch on the mountain and return to your hotel.

Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your onward flight - Laos Airlines QV645 departing at 15:05 & arriving at 16:05

20 Nov 08 Luang Prabang - Day on the Mekong
After breakfast, take a longtail boat crossing to the right bank of the Mekong to visit the pottery village of Ban Han. From here take a thirty minute walk to Wat Long Khoune village to see its local temple. Return to your boat which will stop by a rice wine distilling village on its way upriver.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant and cross the river to visit the Pak Ou caves, famous for thousands of miniature statues of the Buddha. Return to Luang Prabang by longtail boat in the late afternoon.

21 Nov 08 Luang Prabang - Monks + Market and Village
Wake up at sunrise to give monks morning alms and return to your hotel for breakfast. After you finish breakfast, walk through town where you’ll see everything from a silversmith to locals shopping at the morning market for their daily produce. Take a short walk to the Traditional Arts & Ethnology Centre, a museum dedicated to the culture and customs of ethnic villages in Laos.
Have lunch at a local restaurant and afterwards take a scenic drive to visit three hill tribe villages, each with a different handicraft skill. Return to Luang Prabang in the late afternoon and head back to your hotel to relax or take an optional stroll through the night market with your guide.

Transfer to Luang Prabang airport from your hotel in time for your flight - Siemreap AirwaysFT634 departing at 12:10 & arriving at 14:15. You will be met by a Journeys Within representative and taken to Journeys Within Bed & Breakfast.
Head into town to enjoy a traditional buffet dinner and dance show in the evening.

23 Nov 08 Siem Reap - Angkor Wat
This morning head to Angkor Wat in an air conditioned car, or if you choose by bike, with your guide. Explore this majestic temple throughout the morning while it is still cool and has fewer tourists.
Return to Journeys Within for lunch and a nap or refresh with a swim. In the afternoon head to Angkor Thom, the famous walled city and see the many temples within its borders, including the fascinating Bayon temple with its many magnificent faces smiling out. There are several beautiful spots from which to watch the sunset. Discuss with your guide where you would like to be and then relax and enjoy a memorable end to your day at the temples.

24 Nov 08 Siem Reap - Beng Mealea , Banteay Srei and the Ta Prohm
Enjoy breakfast at Journeys Within before leaving the crowds behind and heading to Beng Mealea, a temple only recently opened to the public; about one and a half hours drive from Journeys Within. After an hour you will leave the paved road and get onto a beaten track running through rice fields and villages of rural Cambodia.
At the temple our guide will help you imagine how it once was as you pick your way through the rubble now surrounded by jungle. In the afternoon head to Banteay Srei, an intricately carved temple known as the Lady Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near Banteay Srei and then on the way back visit Ta Prohm, one of the prettiest templesin the complex.

Head to the famous Joe Louis Theater and restaurant, where you will have time to order dinner before the show if you like. The doors to the theater open at 19:00 for you to have a chance to learn a little about the history of Traditional Thai Puppetry, before the one hour show begins. After the show your guide will be available to answer questions or just keep you company as you take one final peek around the night market before returning to your hotel.

After an early breakfast, head with your guide to the Chatuchak Weekend Market before it gets hot and crowded. Get there by public transport and shop where the locals do. This market is one of the largest in the world and offers variety beyond compare and great prices too.
Roam through the thousands of stalls selling clothing, books, wood carvings, house decorations, gifts, art, antiques, plants, live animals and so much more! Enjoy the company of your guide to explain some of the Thai crafts and culture and answer any questions you may have. Around noon you may return to your hotel with your guide or continue shopping on your own.
