02 Mar 10 Siem Reap - Arrival
Catch your flight – You will be met by a Journeys Within representative and taken to Journeys Within Bed & Breakfast where you will meet your host Brandon Ross. If you have time relax by the pool before heading out to Angkor Wat to watch the sunset from Phnom Bakheng.
Enjoy dinner on your private balcony overlooking the pool and gardens, served with a complimentary bottle of champagne, before getting a foot massage in your room.

03 Mar 10 Siem Reap - Angkor Wat
After breakfast head to Angkor Wat in an air conditioned car with your guide. Explore this majestic temple throughout the morning while it is still cool and has fewer tourists. Return to Journeys Within for lunch and a nap.
In the afternoon head to Angkor Thom, the famous walled city and see the many temples within its borders, including the fascinating Bayon temple. Head into town to enjoy a traditional buffet dinner and dance show.

04 Mar 10 Siem Reap - Beng Mealea and Banteay Srei
Wake up early and head out to watch the sun rise over Angkor Wat. After the sun is up grab a traditional breakfast like the locals do at local stall with some tasty noodle soup. After breakfast head to Beng Mealea, a temple only recently opened to the public; about one and a half hours drive from Journeys Within. After an hour you will leave the paved road and get onto a beaten track running through rice fields and villages of rural Cambodia. At the temple our guide will help you imagine how it once was as you pick your way through the rubble now surrounded by jungle.
Return to Siem Reap stopping at Banteay Srei, an intricately carved temple known as the Lady Temple. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant near Banteay Srei before returning to Journeys Within. In the late afternoon visit the new JWOC Community Center Language School. Meet the students and help them practice their English. This flagship location represents and brings together all of JWOC's projects in a central location where educational and economic opportunities are offered free to local communities and meaningful interaction between Cambodians, tourists, donors, expats, scholarship students and others is facilitated.

05 Mar 10 Siem Reap - Other temples and the Tonle Sap
Start your day with a luxurious lie in and order breakfast when you wake up. It will be sent to your balcony where you can relax and take as long as you like – in your bathrobes if you wish! When you are ready head back to the temples where you will visit Banteay Kdei and Ta Prohm, two of the prettiest temples in the complex.
Enjoy lunch at Journeys Within.
After a rest or swim drive through rural Cambodia to the Tonle Sap Lake where you will take a boat ride to visit the floating village and a Cambodian fish farm. As the day ends choose to climb Phnom Krom and see the ancient ruins high on the hill and watch the sun set over the lake and rice fields below or relax and watch the sun disappear below the horizon from your boat on the lake.

06 Mar 10 Siem Reap - Village Tour
Set out for our Journeys Within Village Tour. Our village guide will take you to his village showing you rice paddies and typical homes along the way. At his village enjoy a fresh coconut drink and meet his family and neighbors. Walk from here to West Baray Lake where you can take a local boat to an island with some picturesque ancient Khmer ruins. Return to shore where your car will be waiting for you. From here head to Pua District and visit the Artisans de Angkor silk farm where many local women are trained in the art of silk weaving.
For lunch your guide will take you to town where you can choose a restaurant from the many available. Then wander through the markets before catching a tuk-tuk back to Journeys Within, perhaps stopping at Artisans d’Angkor city workshops if you still wish to do more shopping and to see the students training as artists.
On your return relax and enjoy a Thai Massage in our Massage Room before heading out to enjoy a final dinner at Madam Butterfly or one of the other romantic restaurants in Siem Reap.
