Boutique Resorts really have the opportunity to get involved in their community and I love to see them doing just that. As they say themselves, Mom Tri's really cared about Sustainable Tourism before it was such a hot topic. They do little things…like offer water in glass reusable water bottles instead of plastic and they offer nights at Mom Tri's as raffle prizes for fundraisers, but they also do bigger projects…organizing beach clean ups and inspiring other hotels to also help protect Phuket and the ocean. In recent years Mom Tri's has showcased many local talents through their exhibitions and showcases. “Saying all that I'm sure we can do a lot more,” said the manager from Mom Tri's. I hope they do take their commitment to the next level!
